The targeted beneficiaries of various types of service-oriented and developmental activities have been mainly distressed, destitute, underprivileged, and underrepresented sections of women, children, and old people living in Karimganj, one of the southernmost districts of Assam.

The organization is committed to bringing about sustainable and equitable development through the empowerment of the downtrodden in an integrated approach, especially by empowering the women and rendering service to the neglected section, and thus urges people from diverse fields to maintain their valuable support as they have offered in the last few years.

The chairman of PEF conveys my heartiest gratitude and thankfulness to the local people and various funding agencies ranging from local, national, and governmental to non-governmental agencies, without whose attention and graceful extension it would not have been possible to run all these activities in a smooth and efficient manner.
