Know Our Reasons Behind the Success Story
Project for prevention of Atrocities on women Minority Women leadership training
Breaking the cycle of women leadership begins with awareness and prevention. Currently, PEF provides prevention education in schools, outreach, literature distribution, public awareness speakers and sensitivity training for a variety of community partners touching more than 5,000 individuals during 2019.
TRAINING ON FOOD PROCESSING
Progressive Education Foundation has offer three month food processing training to the rural women .the training centre on food processing is situated at asimganj in karimganj district,In this centre 48 nos of rural women was trained in food processing. Following the completion of three month course, 23 successful candidates have been placed in various job in different enterprise, while 25 have been assisted to start up self enterprise.
Training & Support Programme for rural women
The ducks are generally let loose to allow free ranching in rivers, lakes and reservoirs during the day but are kept in pens at night. This method is advantageous to the large water body for promoting fish production. It also reduces inputs of animals and plant feeds. This method can be considered as an integrated management model for large water body development. But for those fish farms using fish ponds, this method of integration cannot effectively utilize the duck manure and the unconsumed or spilled feeds.
Integrated Programme on Working Children
The organisation is running 4 numbers Special School for Child Labour since the year 1st April 2014 at sharfnagar , Nalua covering 50 child labour within the age group of 10-14 years in each special School and provide them stipend , vocational & non- formal education
Multiple Training Project for Youth Rural Technology Transfer
The organisation is running Multiple Training Project for Youth Rural Technology Transfer at Patherkandi road in karimganj District of Assam covering 100 youth with the age group of 20-40 years and provides them Vocational Training for self - employment, Non-formal Education with other facilities as per scheme.
INTERGRATED PROG. FOR JUVENILE JUSTICE
The organisation is running 4 numbers Special School for Child Labour since the year 1st April 2019 at Kanishail , Jamirala covering 50 child labour within the age group of 10-14 years in each special School and provide them stipend , vocational & non- formal education
Helpline & counseling centre for aged
This home has been providing very need ful services to the destitute elderly persons for last two year. this year 3 elderly persons have been amicably rehabilitated to their families following pertinent counseling and training . At present ,7 aged persons are residing at Helpline & counseling centre at Kanishail. Benefits like nutrition, regular health check ups, counseling and necessary training are offered to the beneficiaries residing at Home.
Vocational Training Programme for Disable Person
The organisation is running a Special school for Disable Persons at Sadarashi in the district of karimganj (Assam) covering 40 ( boys-19 and girls-21) trainees. Trainees are getting the offset Printing and Cutting & Tailoring Training from the Centre.
AWARENESS CUM WORKSHOP ON AIDS
Influx from porous international borders and mostly intrusion from Mizoram and other states bordering states karimganj district has been converting to a harbor of various sexually transmitted diseases, particularly HIV. To fight the menace , PEF has come up with its Awareness Generation camp on AIDS at kanishail, Karimganj District . This year three awareness campaigns have been organized on 15th October, 15th December and 15th January respectively. partcipants were from diverse field like education , health and border trades.
COMMUNITY SANITATION PROGRAMME
Progressive Education Foundation has organized awareness campaign about sanitation in karimganj railway colony and badarpur railway colony on 20-09-2019 and 21-09-2019 for control pollution and various types of transmitted diseases. In this programmes 48 nos of family members in karimganj railway colony and 39 nos of family members in badarpur railway colony were agreed for making the sanitary latrine in their houses. The family members of those family were set up the sanitary latrine with in December 2019 in their houses by the help of PEF under P.H.E department.
Swachh Bharat Mission
The Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is billed as the most ambitious attack ever on the squalor that is India. In a 360-degree publicity campaign, Rural sanitation had moved higher in policy consciousness after 1999, with the Total Sanitation Campaign, which rewarded villages for exemplary sanitation improvements. PEF Organised so many Swachh Bharat Abhiyan camp in our locality .The expanded Swachh Bharat mission, though, unpacks public dirt into sanitation and solid waste in villages and cities. Lack of social will and misdirected governance feature in both situations.The Progressive Education Foundation had completed 700 IHHL Projects in various area at Karimganj District..
Yoga Awareness Camp
Yoga is a physical, mental, and spiritual practice or discipline which originated in ancient India and it is very important to keep your health free from various kinds of diseases. There is a broad variety of Yoga schools, practices, and goals now a daysand it is very much essential for all types of peoples, so a Yoga Awareness camp Organised by Progressive Education Foundation on 21st July the World Yoga day at our Club Office premises.
